On Wednesday 2 October, our board agreed to progress CSET Phase 2 

Our executive board formally agreed to take the Cambridge South East Transport project to the next stage. You can view a recording of the meeting on YouTube.

The dedicated CSET busway with adjoining walking and cycling path gives people more travel choices, making it quicker and easier to get to where people need to go. It connects communities along the route to Cambridge and the new Cambridge South Station, as well as giving commuters easy access to the Biomedical Campus, Granta Park and Babraham Research Campus.

We will now ask Cambridgeshire County Council for approval to submit a Transport & Works Act Order application to the Government for permission to build the project. It is likely that a public inquiry will be called following our submission.
