Cambridgeshire County Council has granted Rangeford a road closure to enable Section 278 works to be completed which include carriageway widening, street lighting, footpath extension to the Rangeford development and a TTRO for speed reduction.
This scheme does include out of hours working but high decibel noise will be limited as much as possible
Access will be maintained to properties affected by this order. The alternative route for vehicles is via A1307 – High Street, Babraham – Pampisford Road – Babraham Road, Pampisford – A605 – A1301 – Bury Road, Stapleford and vice versa.
The Order shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which it is made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
