Cadent Gas works were scheduled to start on 6th June. As you will have noticed, nothing has happened. The particularly curious might even have called the enquiries number on the sign, to find that it goes to a team dealing with work in…Wolverhampton.
Brian Milne, our CCC councillor, has investigated on our behalf. Cadent Gas has now confirmed that there is no longer any planned date for the proposed works and that they will remove their advance warning signs ASAP. They will resubmit a permit with revised dates as soon as they can. Advance warning signs will then be back in place 14 days before commencement of works.
