I have lived in Great Shelford and Stapleford my whole life and have been settled in my current home for 16 years. I attended Stapleford Community Primary School, Brownies, Guides and the local youth club now known as SSYI. I know the village and the local surroundings well and love to hear the stories my grandmother tells of growing up in Stapleford!

I work as a Senior Talent Partner specialising in marketing within the tech sector. It’s a wonderful role that allows me to meet people from all over the world and to visit some of Europe’s most vibrant cities.

Outside of work most of my hobbies and time involve some form of sport. I am an England Athletics qualified running coach and volunteer as the host of a running group in Sawston, supporting people with their physical and mental health. I play football for Cambridge Ranger Women’s FC. When not playing, I am watching! I am also a qualified referee: some residents may remember me refereeing matches for SASS in the 2000’s. I am also a committee member for an official Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Group which gives a voice to underrepresented communities. The sociology of sport is something that I have a real interest in and I can often be found with my head in a book.

I am a member of the Stapleford Weekend organising committee and believe it to be a wonderful event for our local community: an opportunity for friends and families to come together and celebrate Stapleford. I have joined the Parish Council to encourage community spirit and get people involved, especially children and young adults. We already have some fantastic youth initiatives in place and I look forward to meeting some of the incredible volunteers that make this happen.
