Welcome to Stapleford, Cambridgeshire

Stapleford lies around 4 miles south of Cambridge, between Great Shelford and Sawston. It is surrounded by fertile greenbelt farmland and bounded to the south by the River Granta, to the west by the rail line linking Cambridge and London, to the east by Magog Down and Wandlebury Country Park, and to the north by rolling chalk hills.

Around 1,900 people currently live in the village, which has a Community Primary School, St Andrew’s Church, a large recreation ground with sports and leisure facilities and a pavilion, several active clubs and societies, Stapleford Granary music and arts centre, two pubs and a village shop.
